Debdale Angling Society is a well established local angling club which uses Gorton Upper Reservoir.

The reservoir is stocked with an extensive range of fish and number of purpose built fishing pegs have recently been constructed giving ideal fishing sites.

Access is from Abbey Hey Lane and Green Fold (Gorton), or Kings Road, (Audenshaw), 0r Booth Road
