Wigan & DAA is a well-known fishing club headquartered in Wigan, in the North West of England. It is made up of smaller fishing clubs, but individual fishermen are also allowed to join, with a total membership of well over 2,000. The Association regulates fishing in Greater Manchester and Lancashire, covering parts of the Ribble, Wyre, and Douglas rivers, as well as around 25 miles of fishing on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and the Rufford Canal (up to Br 7 only). The next seven bridges are under Southport's authority. Fishing is also available at the club on 16 lakes, reservoirs, and ponds.
