Located around 40 miles west of Norwich and 13 miles east of King's Lynn, Great Massingham is a picturesque town with one of Norfolk's most spectacular greens.
The settlement is dominated by a number of huge ponds, some of which date back to an Augustinian Abbey built in the early 1100s. There were two CPRE Community Open Spaces Awards in 2009 and 2010, and a 'EDP Pride in Norfolk' award in 2009 and 2010 for settlements with less than 1,000 residents.
