The McCallums Bank End Fishery complex spans 20 acres and has three lakes with a selection of outstanding day ticket fishing.

Our lakes, also known as Bank End Fisheries, are situated near Finningley and may be fished by obtaining day permits on the bank or at the on-site Farm Shop.

East End Lake 

The lake has a total of 58 pegs and is a fantastic mixed fishery with carp over 30lbs, bream up to 10lbs, roach, perch, and tench. The lakes, which are around 5 acres in size, provide superb fishing for both enjoyment and specimen fishermen.

The option to park behind your peg enables you to fish comfortably all year long.

West End Lake

With 22 pegs, this is the smallest of the three pools on the McCallums complex. West End Lake is teeming with carp, F1's, and mirror carp, making for an excellent day's sport. In matches held on this pool, nets weighing over 200lb have been recorded, with carp averaging 3–4lb and F1's reaching substantial weights of around 6lb.

Park beside your peg and take use of the farm shop and cafe for all-season fishing.

Match Lake

Our dedicated match fishing lake is heavily stocked with F1 carp weighing between 2 and 3lb, with the possibility of larger fish weighing up to 15lb. Depths go as low as 14ft, and there is also plenty of depth on the margins, where numerous carp may be caught using pole and pellet methods.

Pleasure fishing is permitted on our Match Lake only when no club or open matches are being held.

27. 7. 2022 went back to peg 38 east lake fished 2 feeder rods maggot and sweet corn combination on same hook. small common carp plus small mirror carp about a pound to a pound and a half plus some 12 ounce perch never had 5 minutes rest all day. had to put rods on bank fore a bite to eat and a drink. total fish 40 to 45 great day 7.45 am to 4.15 pm

13. 7 ,2022 fished east lake 8.30 till 4 pm. 34 f 1 carp 2 lb + also decent roach 1.5 lb + perch all caught on red maggot and sweetcorn together lost a few fish with with no barb on hooks great day

23.6.2022 WEST LAKE PEG 19 NEXT TO MAIN ROAD SKIMMERS ROACH PERCH F 1 CARP/ LOTS OF BIG CARP IN TOP OF WATER ABOUT 12 TO 15 LB GOOD DAY FIRST TIME ON THIS LAKE

15 .6.2022 fished 8 am till 4 pm roach bream rudd and perch about 48 to 50 fish on feeder red white yellow maggots single or double peg 29 east lake

13.9 2020 8 bream 4 roach and one perch 8.30 8 bream 4 roach and one perch feeder tactics red maggot. carp rod not even a bite on multiple boilies it was a hard day 8 hours east lake

sunday 21.7.2020 5 carp one 16lb 2at 14lb and 2 at 7lb biggest one on strawberry boilie on carp rod the rest on double red maggot on feeder rod plus 6 bream 2.5 to 3lb +a few decent roach. lost some fish cos of barbless hooks don/t know peg number opposit the island near the farm shop east lake

went sunday 13.5. 19 fished 9am till 4pm very good. bream roach skimmers perch. bream to 3lb lost a big carp at 2pm screemed 20yards off then while under control line came off ready tied spade end hook. drennan. it was big cos iv had 16lb fish fron same spot this was at least over 18 to 20 lb all on fish on double red. peg 2 next to pump house east lake. there was about 30 to 35 fishing on this lake gutted about the line coming off the hook size 14. 9lb
