At Durleigh reservoir, the only one of the reservoirs dedicated to public coarse fishing, anglers can fish more than 80 acres of abundant coarse fish from the bank. The reservoir offers superb coarse fishing for matches or the casual angler from waters containing carp, roach, bream, perch, tench and specimen size pike. Carp fishing remained consistently strong throughout the year. There were also some good bags of roach and bream taken throughout the year along with some excellent pike fishing, the best weighing just under 30lbs.
