Tanyard Fishery consists of 7 Lakes which are set on the edge of the Sheffield forest cater for most styles and ability of angling and can offer something for everyone. All lakes have been constructed with the angler and wildlife in mind and have been planted with water plants of all varieties shapes and sizes to give an aesthetically pleasing look. The grounds of the fishery are treated as a garden with short cropped grass, all lakes have car parks by them so only a short walk is needed to get to any peg. The fishery facilities are of a high standard with ladies and gents toilets being of modern clean design, a washing up room is also available. Tanyard Fishery lodge provides hot food delivered to your swim if you would like, as well as snacks and a range of bait and end tackle for all those bits and pieces you may forget. The lakes were first constructed by owner Bernie Brown in 1987 and over the last 20 years have matured into beautiful rich waters containing specimen sized fish of all species. The fishery aquariums also offer an insight into how fish behave under the water and can be viewed daily.
