Wyke Lake

Park Road, Low Moor, BD12 0DL, Bradford, United Kingdom

This fishery is an old Victorian boating lake within the ground of Harold Park itself. The park is in the Low Moor area of Bradford (between Odsal and Wyke). It is a large lake, square in shape with a path that runs all the way around the edge. The lake banks are walled in to the water and bottom is all stone lined and uniform. The edge of the lake is around 3 feet, but this descends to nearer 20 feet in the middle. There is also an island for the wildlife and no fishing is allowed from it. The main species are roach, perch, bream, carp, f1 carp and pike.
No fishing is allowed before the official opening or after the official closing time, i.e. sunrise/sunset. No fishing from the island. Day Tickets are available for this water from Tackle 2U in Bradford at a cost of £3 for seniors or £1 for Ladies, Juniors & OAP's.
