Mitchell and Darfield Pond known to locals as the Pit Pond is a beautiful 25+ pegged pond with an island feature to the centre of the water, averaging around 4ft-5ft in depth. It is renowned for its massive head of Tench along with Bream, F1's and silverfish.
Darfield Mitchell and Darfield Pond is operated by the Mitchell and Darfield Angling Club.
