Thorpe Lea Fishery

Thorpe Lea FisheryThorpe Lea RoadThorpeEghamSurreyTW20 8RH.

Stocked in 2003 with 2,500 prime carp to 18lb from British Waterways' bagging Mecca, Drayton Reservoir, Thorpe Lea continuously proves itself to be a spectacular fishery and the carp are packing on the weight fast with 27 fish over 30lb already reported and 1 in 3 fish being over 20lb. Bottom baits, floaters, zig rigs, method feeders, bagging wagglers and even the fly all scored in 2014 with non-stop action and mega hauls of carp. You too can experience the fishery that everyone has been talking about and since 2007 you can now night fish our lake - just don't expect to get much sleep! Transportation from the car park to the swims is provided free of charge for the disabled, with a small charge made for others if needed.

I’d avoid ???? as soon as you post in there group about the terrible weed you get harassed and the staff start talking about your appearance. You can delete the post and remove people out your group but don’t you worry I have the screenshots you bunch of bully’s! You should be ashamed of yourselves honestly it’s laughable. As soon as a picture was posted of the weeds pulled out to prove your liars you removed us all ????

This was my first time at Thorpe lea although I only live 10mins down the road always thinking it would be full all the time and be thrashed and bashed and because I've had two syndicate tickets but due to an ongoing illness my sight has been affected and I had to drop out of them so day tickets for me so I gave Thorpe lea a go and this is the part were I eat my words I arrived on Fri afternoon and planned to fish til sun I pulled up in the carpark to be met by a nice young man who was one of the bailiffes he was polite and really helpful I went to pay for my ticket which cost me 48quid from Fri til sun lunch time which was very reasonable in the shop is a welstockt shop with bait and tackle there is a cafe which will deliver to your swim by arrangement and for a couple of quick all your tackle is taken to your swim the swims are spacious and well kept and thought out couldn't fault it my only thing that got me was two rods please if we pay the extra for a third rod please there are no Draconian rules just sensible ones so to round up an excellent fishery would recommend it to anyone many thanks Thorpe lea
