Longacre Fishery is located just outside the charming village of Tansley, yet only 3 miles outside Matlock.

it is situated in the Derbyshire Dales and has fantastic views over the local countryside. There are 10 unique pegs to choose from and all usually fish well. You are able to get snacks and drinks made to order and delivered to your peg by the host Andrew. 

Alternativly you can help yourself to snacks and drinks in the bait shop and use the honesty box. The shop sells a variety of rods, tackle and bait. You can also hire equipment for a modest fee.

Andrew also gives fishing lessons tailored to suit your ability and requirements. At present you can have a 3 hour lesson including all rods, tackle and bait for £25, you can then fish for the remainder of the day free of charge.

There are also 2 superb apartments that you can stay in and explore the local surroundings. If you stay in the accommodation you can fish for free.

there are plenty of local markets, Chatsworth House, Bakewell and lots of other interesting places to visit.
