The 25 acre gravel pit was originally a syndicate before it was changed over to a day ticket fishery during 2013. The lake has a very large stock of carp (450+ fish). The largest resident in the lake weighs in at a staggering 59lb which set a Yorkshire record. There are 3 over known 50's in the lake, 20 different 40's and over 50 different 30's.
The lake has 20 different swims with most of them having an acre of their own water. The lake can contain large amounts of weed at times, which is why the fishery provides 12 different rowing boats to help you retrieve snagged equipment and fish.
A one off lifetime membership is required to fish the venue which costs £50. Once you have paid this you will then need to pay a day ticket price each time you come. It costs £35 for a 24 ticket (Friday - Saturday) and £30 per 24 hours mid week (Sunday-Thursday).
