Chorley Springs

Tithe Barn Lane, Chorley Lichfield Staffordshire WS15 4LR

Chorley Springs is an idyllic spring fed 5 lake fishery operating on a day and night ticket basis, offering the opportunity for fishing in natural surroundings where there is plenty of bankside cover, and ample parking near the waters.

Chorley Springs was purchased by new owners in August 2019, we very much hope that you enjoy using the fishery, and we look forward to seeing many of you as we embark on our new venture with plans to make a number of improvements to this beautiful location.

Our aim is to ensure that everyone enjoys using these facilities and does so safely and free from harm, having with respect for the property, other visitors and our neighbours at all times

About five minutes drive from Lichfield, Burntwood and Rugeley set in the heart of Staffordshire countryside on the fringes of Cannock Chase, Chorley Springs is situated in a quiet and peaceful location.

Open from 8am until 8pm (or dusk if earlier) for day ticket anglers, and 8pm to 8am for those who want to night fish (must be booked in advance), the pools offer a mix of fishing from pleasure, to fishing for specimen carp where the fish run to over 20lbs. and hold a nice mix of fish from roach, bream, perch, and tench to crucian, common, mirror, and leather carp into double figures.

Because the pools are spring fed, they are fully oxygenated, good fishing is virtually guaranteed all year round.

Nearby is the beautiful City of Lichfield, golf courses, water sports, canals, as well as more adventurous activities such as Go Karting and Go Ape set in breath taking scenery in Cannock Chase

There are two country pubs within a mile of the Fishery, Ye Olde Windmill, and The Malt Shovel Inn, which serve good food, with other country pubs nearby, together with a variety of excellent restaurants in Lichfield.
