Lakes with carp and catfish

Our dedicated specimen pool is Snowdon. Snowdon was originally supplied with fish that were barely above 20 pounds, but it currently has fish up to 40 pounds. This water is only available to syndicate members. The Syndicate membership package is an all-inclusive plan that includes year-round access to all of the carp waters. Due of their scarcity, they are in great demand.

Llewelyn is our best "runs" water for carp. Although the water is more difficult than Weston, the rewards are superb. There are a lot of double-figure carp, as well as a decent number of fish above 20 pounds, with the majority being over 25 pounds. A stunning 32-pound common holds the current lake record. Llewelyn also has a +30 pound mirror that has yet to be captured. Tickets for the day are available, but pegs must be reserved in advance.

Weston is a wonderful carp "runs" pool with excellent big carp, some exceeding the magic 20lb mark, and an average weight of 13lb. This lake fishes very well all year, making it a favourite destination for anglers. Day fishing does not need a reservation; just buy a ticket at the lodge before to fishing. Weston may be fished at night, although reservations are necessary.

Brecon is our newest addition to the fishery is a tiny, intimate pool with a great head of catfish in addition to a fair variety of carp. These fish are presently weighing in at slightly over 50 pounds, but they've been developing quickly since being stocked, so who knows how large they'll reach. There is only one double peg in this pool, thus reservations are strongly advised.

Lakes for match fishing

Glyndwr is a lake that is specifically constructed for match fishing. It contains 18 pegs, two of which are disabled. Carp, Roach, Skimmers, and Rudd are supplied in this lake. The lake has a high stocking level of high-quality fish in a variety of sizes, making it ideal for all of your match and pleasure fishing needs.

Tryfan was created with match fishing in mind. There are 22 pegs in all, each with its own unique attribute. Carp, Roach, Skimmers, and Rudd are supplied in this lake. In 2015, Tryfan underwent substantial renovations, including the addition of a new centre island. The lake has a high stocking level of high-quality fish in a variety of sizes, making it ideal for all of your match and pleasure fishing needs.

Aran Lake is a well-known Tench fishing spot. There are some decent tench up to 7 pounds in the lake, as well as a few carp and coarse fish. It's a natural pool, so if you like fishing among weeds and fallen trees, this is the lake for you. Aran has one dedicated peg and the ability to stalk from a single bank.

Gelert is a popular canal lake for matches, pleasure anglers, and families. It contains a variety of tench, silverfish, and carp. The lake is open for fishing all year.
