Park in the Past Lake

20 Bryn Yorkin Caergwrle, WREXHAM Flintshire, LL12 9HU

The lake is nestled in a region of great natural beauty, set within an extraordinary antique environment dating back to prehistoric times. Our lake, located only a short distance from Caergwrle Castle and with stunning views of Hope Mountain, is the result of post-World War II quarrying activity and today provides a great fishing destination within easy reach of many keen fishermen.

Our 35-acre lake, which is fed by a natural spring, provides a peaceful rural hideaway with some of the greatest fishing in the area. With over 25 different peg positions available each day, you'll have plenty of chances to capture the fish of a lifetime!

This lake has never been officially available to fishing before, and anyone with the talent and patience to net a huge catch will have a fantastic day. The lake provides fishermen with a hard and probably record-breaking experience, with extremely massive 20lb+ carp previously caught and who knows what monsters lie there.
