2 attractive pools set within the Shopshire Hills area of outstanding natural beauty.

Lane pool is the larger, specimen lake with carp at 20lbs+, also grass carp and specimen tench. Low stocking density on this pool should see fantastic growth rates from this very special strain of carp.

Millennium pool whilst smaller is more heavily stocked. This is our practice pool with the majority of common and mirror carp below 10lbs, although there are large grass carp upto 20lbs+.

My partner and his Dad regularly fish here. They often catch 5-6 fish from Millennium Pool used for leisure fishing. The specimen pool (Lane Pool) provides a good challenge! So far the largest carp they've caught has been 17.8 pounds, but I understand there are larger fish to be had here! The setting is idyllic and the staff are friendly and helpful with tips. Would definitely recommend Earlsdale Retreat.
