.I fish Earlsdale retreat on a regular basis and without a doubt is the best Tench venue I have fished in 55 years of fishing. On the 21st July I caught a mixed bag of carp and Tench with mainly Tench up to 4lb 6oz. 6 hours spent in beutifull surroundings.

My partner and his Dad regularly fish here. They often catch 5-6 fish from Millennium Pool used for leisure fishing. The specimen pool (Lane Pool) provides a good challenge! So far the largest carp they've caught has been 17.8 pounds, but I understand there are larger fish to be had here! The setting is idyllic and the staff are friendly and helpful with tips. Would definitely recommend Earlsdale Retreat.
