255 Forest Road, Bristol, BS16 3, Somerset, United Kingdom

The Clamp, The Lido, and Whitehouse Farm are all under the control of Alcove Angling. Platform swims for wheelchair users are available in the Clamp at Coalpit Heath. The Fishponds Lido Carp, roach, tench, rudd, and pike may all be found in Bristol, a mixed fisheries lake. A variety of fish inhabit Margaret's lake. An established lake, George's Lake, may be found in the vicinity.

All club members are required to assist in the preservation of the natural environment, including wildlife, plants, and other organisms, on all club properties. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted to fish in any waterways under our jurisdiction without an adult chaperone.

Only one rod may be used by a child under the age of 12 when fishing with an adult. All club waters require an Environmental Agency fishing permit. In the event that a bailiff, landowner, or officer of the club requests that a member provide their membership tab and relevant rod license, they must comply.

So sad to hear this kind of stuff is going off. My father was a keen fisherman and spent many a day at the Lido. Back then the club had one lake and my father became a bailiff just so this kind of behaviour did not happen. I haven’t fished since my dad has passed away, but we still visit the lake just to sit on the bench and relax. The one’s that abuse and leave a mess never turn out for the work parties and even I turned out for work parties including when the club got the Clamp lake. The lake had a massive tree that had fee into the lake and hadn’t had any work done to it. So many true gentlemen who took pride in knowing that others may get the benefit of all the hours, day and even over the months. At the time the members that kept it a special place even used money out of their own pocket to get the lake cleared and new fish put into the lake.

The Lido used to be a great and still could be agreat place to if it were not for the anlgers and their freinds who seem to abuse the rules by fishing livebait rods, drinking, smoking so much weed you can taste it sat the other side of the bank and causing so much noise between them!! The bailiffs are useless at controlling this even after it has been reported numerous times! Get a grip and kick them of the lake so it can get back to a peaceful, relaxing place to fish!
