Owners Mark and Debbie Vickery built the lake in 1994. It has grown into a well-managed and established fishery with a welcoming, family-oriented ambiance during the past 15 years.
It's a great lake for fishermen of all skill levels, from beginners to pros, and fly anglers can get free instruction on weekends. Fishing for worms has finally come to an end.
A foundation supply of 1lb1/2, 2lb, and 3lb rainbow trout, as well as other sizes of bigger fish, is slowly supplied into the lake on a daily basis. The current rainbow and brown fisheries records are 23 pound 11 ounces and 17 pound 11 ounces, respectively. All browns have been freed for the time being.
