Cranebrook Lakes belong to Christchurch Angling Club which is one of the longest established fishing clubs in the UK, having been founded in 1938.
Cranbrook Lakes are located just south of Verwood alongside the River Crane. There are three adjoining lakes and some rearing ponds. The third lake (Wood Lake) is reached by walking past the main lakes and crossing the unmade road. It is about 200m from the main complex car park.
All lakes contain roach, rudd, tench, perch, crucians and a few carp. Wood Lake was stocked in 2010 with some quality bream to add to the species on offer. Many areas are quite shallow and fish can be taken close to the weedbeds and margin cover.
You need a Club key to access the car park. Car labels must be displayed at all times.
