Not bad for a few hours fishing on the surface. However i wouldn't night fish there you gear might get stolen. Rough area.

I have fished northlands park for many years carp fishing and did not like the lakes being segregated with the big carp put into the road lake it was much better when the carp could swim between the lakes to me blocking off the bridge swim chanel was a big mistake I caught the 30 lb common when it weighed 25 lb 12 oz's from the cafe lake cafe swim in the reed bay using a fresh prawn as bait on an anti blow back hair rig the lakes have a good head of carp well worth the price of a day ticket and to the yet again new bailiff please clear the chanel and let the carp swim between the two lakes again
