Chard Reservoir is 48 acres of open water. It is popular venue for Match Anglers, Carp Anglers, Ornithologist and Walkers alike. Chard and District Angling Club in conjunction with South Somerset District Council control the waters. Night fishing is permitted and proves very popular amongst the Carp Anglers as the swims are large and accessible for bivies. A member of C&DAC will come around during the day to collect payment and issue permits.
