The 60 acres of shimmering water, the varied banks of mixed woodland and spacious moorland, and free rising rainbows and browns can all be relied upon year on year. Many have grown into outstanding - and mysterious - fish. Mysterious because nobody knows how big they are. Browns into double figures have been caught, and other huge ones, possibly well into the teens of pounds have been hooked and lost.
